One Another was born through the collaboration of Jessica and Tessa, two qualified Therapists with a shared approach to practice with individuals.

Over the last ten years we have worked within the healthcare space in both community and clinical settings. We learned the importance of working holistically; tending to an individual's home, health, purpose and community to build and maintain a meaningful and satisfying life despite the presence  of symptoms.

In working holistically, we recognise support is often needed to bridge the gap between what we explore with a therapist and how to implement tangible action within our day to day lives. Which is why we feel that it is important to provide an offering of the additional integrative support to compliment the one-on-one therapy.

Our Team

I am a Psychologist and Art Therapist with a Bachelor of Arts Psychology with a double major in Children and Family studies, Graduate Diploma in Psychology and a Master of Art Therapy. I have ten years of experience in the health care field with a number of populations in both an individual and group capacity. I’ve worked across various settings, including clinical, educational and community environments which has allowed me to explore a number of evidence-based therapies. As a humanistic, client-centered therapist my approach is grounded in positive psychology and also incorporates a range of therapeutic techniques in order to align with your unique needs. I value the importance of a collaborative therapeutic relationship, and aim to empower you to make changes towards a full and meaningful life.

Born in Perth, I moved to Melbourne a decade ago to pursue my studies in the creative arts and subsequently complete my Masters in Art therapy and Counselling. My greatest love has always been connecting with the parts of my most creative self, whether artistically, spiritually or through movement. Throughout my life, I have held a deep respect for the wisdom of the body, learning to trust and prioritise what the body strives to communicate daily as I come into relationship with myself, my community and culture. This has been a life-long personal practice of mine which informs and guides how I work therapeutically. In connecting with me, you can expect our work together to look many ways. My approach is person-centered guided by where you are at. Together, we can draw on multiple resources such as bodywork, creative work, energetic work and community work.

Some frameworks that I can offer during our time together include, but are not limited to:

  • Positive Psychology

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy

  • Cognitive Behaviour Therapy

  • Dialectical Behaviour Therapy principles

  • Expressive Arts Therapy

  • Mindfulness Techniques

  • Trauma Informed Practice
